Terms and conditions.
Booking contract.

Please read the booking conditions carefully, since
they set out the terms and conditions between you (the person
signing the booking as party leader, and all the other members of
the party on whose behalf he or she signs) and Mr & Mrs M Ewer.

You must be aged 18 years or over when the booking is
made and you are responsible for the payments under this contract
and for ensuring that all members of your party comply with these
terms and conditions.
Payment.
-
The booking form must be accompanied by the
appropriate booking deposit of 30% of the total cost. This is a non-
refundable deposit.

The balance of the booking price must be paid at
least 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, failing which we reserve
the right, to treat the booking as cancelled by you and cancellation
charges will apply (please read cancellation charges) or we may make
a late payment charge of up to 2% of the overdue balance.

If booking within in 8 weeks of arrival the full
amount is payable on booking.

Payments can be made by cheque or bank
transfer.(sterling or euro)

We will accept payments made by third parties ( such
as other members of your party) provided they are identified as
payments made under this contract,
Cancellation.
1 If you cancel your
holiday you must inform us immediately by e-mail or letter. Cancellation
letters must be sent to the address on the booking form, verbal
cancellations will not be accepted.
2. the holding deposit
is non- refundable in any case but is the only charge if cancelling 8
weeks or more in advance of your booking. Later date cancellation
charges are as follows:

3.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking and accept
no responsibility for any losses that may be incurred. However, if
for any reason, we have to cancel your booking, we will refund all
payments we have received from you.
4. It is your responsibility to ensure that your
insurance covers you for any losses you may incur following any
cancellation.
Security deposit and insurance.

A security deposit of £400 is required with all
bookings (as an indemnity against loss or damage to property its
fittings, fixtures and contents) It will be payable by a separate
cheque with the final balance. Your liability is not limited to the
amount of the security deposit and you should ensure that you are
adequately insured. Once the property has been inspected by our
property caretaker, the security deposit, less applicable
deductions, will be returned to you upon your arrival home.
2. We strongly advise you to have insurance cover for at
least the following risks:
a) liability for accidental damage to the
property;
b) cancellation;
c) medical & emergency expenses.

Personal possessions are not covered by property
owners insurance.
The property.
You
agree to
-
Treat the property with care and consideration and
report any damage or breakages to the caretaker for the property
prior to departure or, if significant as soon after its occurrence
as possible.

Ensure that no member of your party behaves in a
manner likely to cause damage to the property or its contents, or
offence or danger or distress to others.

Leave the property clean and tidy at the end of your
holiday otherwise a final cleaning charge will be made.

Not to exceed the maximum number of people permitted
to reside there. ( only guests named on the booking form are allowed
to stay in the property) and not to sublet the property.

The parking of caravans or pitching of tents is
forbidden.

Pets are not allowed.

There is a no –smoking policy in the villa.
-
Hot water is included in the rental cost all year
round. For rental between 1st October and the end of
April, heating will be available for use in the villa .This will be
charged for separately at cost.

Bed linen, tea towels and bathroom towels are
provided and changed weekly. Pool/ beach towels are not supplied.
In
the event of a breach of clauses 1or 2 of the above (the
property), you will be asked to vacate the property and the contract
will terminate without refund or compensation.
Arrival and departure.

Please check in between 4pm – 6pm on the arrival date
(unless special arrangements are agreed in advance)

Please vacate the property by 10:00 am on the day of
your departure, to allow cleaning before the next guests arrive
(all times are local French time)
3. Please note changeover day is a Saturday.
Liability.
-
We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any death,
personal injury, loss or damage of any kind.

We accept no liability for loss or damage to personal
effects.

The swimming pool is used entirely at your own risk,
children and non-swimmers should be supervised at all times as we
can accept no liability. The pool does not have any depth markings
and therefore the depth should be checked before use. Diving into
the pool is at your own risk .Please keep glasses and bottles away
from the pool, use only unbreakable plastic glasses around the
poolside. Any glass in the pool will result in loss of the entire
security deposit.

The presence of animals or insects is inevitable in
the South of France.
Force Majeure.
We
cannot accept any liability for compensation where performance or prompt
performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by
reasons outside our control or by circumstances amounting to force
majeure.
Law.
These terms and conditions to
which they apply are governed in all aspects by English law and the
English courts only shall have jurisdiction in relation to them.
